It feels to me as though the last year has been missing... I got pregnant, and although it produced something amazing, life was painful, stressful, and crazy. Then I had a baby, bought a home, and celebrated the holidays.
And then normal life started to happen again. And E is making our days amazingly bright. Here she is, bright eyed. Beautiful girl picked up a toy for the first time, eek! I laid the chain on her belly and left the room and when I came back she was holding it and bringing it to her mouth. I love moments like this one.
Life with two girlies is great. Sometimes I wish I could still give the time to M I did back in the day, back when we were painting and creating every day. And I think we'll get back there, we're just balancing things still, bringing it back together. But I also love to see them both there, in front of me, us just living how we live. I love it.
E loves her fur, she rolls around on it, wiggles, and my favorite is when she rolls to the side and grabs the fur and starts to chew on it, ha. Love her.
Walked in the front room yesterday and she and daddy were watching football. Weird thing = she loves TV. And that's not a joke, she really does. If M is watching something and I have to set E down while I switch a laundry load or something, I come back in the room and she's completely enthralled, more than M usually!
We've been using cloth diapers, which has been working great. So far, so good. But of course I've been getting the itch to make some more diapers. To create the perfect system. Once you've been using cloth for awhile you start to choose what you do and don't like, and what works best for you. I think i have come up with the perfect system, so I've been doing some creating, yes! Love it!!
Had a date with myself out to JoAnn Fabrics. Okay, E came too. But pretty much any time M isn't there I feel like I'm rockin' it. Not that I don't enjoy both of my children's company. But I do love to go to JoAnns by myself and just look around and really enjoy myself.
And that's just what I did.

(on a side note, got these glasses this summer for $40, love 'em... but this is the first picture where I wish I paid the extra 30 or so for the anti-glare, oops, you live and learn!)
It's all overpriced but it's completely adorable. So I bought some. Cute snaps with little etched animals on them. Love loVe lovE!!
So basically life is good. Diaper supplies in my bag, renewed self through a trip to the local craft store, and the diaper I made yesterday actually worked exactly as planned, and I love it. I'm a brilliant diaper designer. :) Or something like that. :) After I wash it I'll take a pic for ya. Or after I make another one, with my sweet animal snaps that is...
Life is perfect. Perfectly awesome. It feels normal again, real. I love that. And the house is looking great. Hopefully in the next week or two I'll have more updated pics on that front. SO darn excited about the house happenings this week... or what is supposedly going to happen this week, more on that later, when it actually happens!! :)
